Great for large areas or acreage.

It is recommended to aerate at the beginning of the growing season.

Aeration helps with compacted and heavily thatched lawns, it also helps the water, air and nutrients get down to where they are needed. Also, before aeration mow your lawn low (25mm-40mm).

It is also recommended to do after rain (not soaking) to get the most out of the corer as the ground is soft. If no rain, give the lawn a good water evening before.

Certainly, for well-travelled compacted soil.
